I chose to dance to Zombie by Fela Kuti because my dad loves to listen to Fela Kuti, so I grew up listening to him a lot. The style of dance I love to do is very intricate and beat hitting heavy. This song has so many instruments and different tempos, so I thought it would be a good song to dance to. In my dance, it was mostly improv or freestyle. I listened to the song a couple of times through to get an understanding of when certain beats are played and I tried to match my movements/ catch the beat at the same time.
