My goal for this project was to sample a song from one of the class spotify playlists that are specific to certain countries around the world. I ended up sampling two different songs from the playlist titled 102_Africa_Supp. The first song I sampled is called Mansa by the artist Rail Band. I sampled two different parts of the song with one sample being at the very beginning and the second sample takes place roughly 4 minutes and 45 seconds into the song. I altered both samples in different ways.The second song I sampled is called Wakanda by the artist Ludwig Göransson featuring Baaba Maal. The sample I used takes place at roughly 1 minute and 42 seconds into the song. I also altered this sample by lowering the pitch.
